Community Based Climate Change Adaptation Measures

Pwani project promotes community based climate change adaptation measures among the rural coastal communities. Above are demo plosts for the drounght and disease resistant and early maturing simsim farming at Sange village and banana demo plots in Mwembeni village in Pangani district.

Community Based Distributor

Community Based Distributors (CBDs) have brought health and family planning services closer to the community. They also raise awareness on how to integrate population, health and anvironment (PHE) after obtaining PHE education from TCMP-Pwani project. Above is one of CBDs who is also one of the owners of condom outlets at Kwakibuyu/Sakura, Pangani District
